DU employees can sign up for benefits during the 2008 annual enrollment period April 28–May 16. The benefits fair is set for May 7, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Ritchie Center.
“We have finalized the new benefits for 2008 and the big news is that we are moving to Delta Dental this year,” says Shannon Winckel, human resources associate director.
Also added this year is an auto and homeowners insurance policy available from Liberty Mutual that offers DU employees an extra discount.
Medical premiums are increasing 7 percent this year; medical plans will stay the same.
The benefits office is holding informational sessions throughout April. This year the benefits choices guide will be distributed on CD to all benefited employees.
Benefit changes can be made through WebCentral. Log in, click MyWeb, then Banner self-service, employee and finally, open enrollment.
