The University of Missouri has been making headlines this week, raising important questions and concerns about racial tension on college campuses. At the University of Denver, student leaders and administrators alike say they realize there is a lot of work to do surrounding issues of inclusivity and diversity on campus.
Over the next year, says Chancellor Rebecca Chopp, the University will be undertaking a major review of the supports it offers and the education it provides.
Liliana Rodriguez, vice chancellor of campus life and inclusive excellence, will host a listening session beginning at 4 p.m. today on Driscoll Green. Before the session, members of the Undergraduate Student Government and the Black Student Alliance will paint DU’s community wall with a message of solidarity.
