DU working to confirm status of study-abroad students in Paris

Luc Beaudoin, associate provost at the Office of Internationalization at the University of Denver, said Friday night that DU is working to confirm the status of study-abroad students in light of today’s attacks in Paris.

“We know of at least six students who are studying abroad in Paris, and more who are studying in other parts of France,” Beaudoin says. “In addition, six other DU students studying abroad in other countries, who are in Paris for the weekend, posted on Facebook to say that they are all safe. The University’s program provider for study abroad, International Studies Abroad, is working with students to ensure they take necessary steps to remain secure as the situation unfolds.”

Updates on DU students in Paris will come on the DU Twitter page.
