Eating out on Thursday, April 30 could help those with a serious illness get a meal, too.
Numerous restaurants in the DU community are participating in this year’s Dining Out for Life event. Dine at any participating restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner and 25 percent of the bill goes to the nonprofit, Project Angel Heart.
Funds raised through Dining Out for Life help Project Angel Heart deliver free meals to 1,700 people coping with a life-threatening illness.
This year, more than 250 restaurants from Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Golden and Evergreen are contributing to Project Angel Heart.
