Audubon puffin finds new home at Penrose

This John James Audubon print of an arctic puffin is on display at Penrose Library. It is part of a rare nine-volume
set — The Birds of America, From Drawings Made in the United States and Territories — recently donated to the University by Beth Newton (BA ’79). Her father found the collection — which includes 500 hand-colored lithograph pages — in a New Orleans shop in the 1920s.
