Before all you anglers out there write in to correct us, let me just say: We know. The fishing fly on our cover is a bass lure, even though our article about fly fishing only mentions trout. We went with a bass fly, because, well, it simply made a better photo.
Photography is one of the things the University of Denver Magazine does best, according to a spring survey sent to 6,065 randomly selected readers. Ninety-one percent of respondents rated photography as good or excellent. Nearly 90 percent rated writing, art/illustration and overall design as good or excellent, and most said they are satisfied with the magazine and their relationship with DU.
Still, with a response rate of just 9.1 percent, we can’t make too much of these numbers; they may not be representative of the readership at large.
So, we need to hear from the rest of you. If you didn’t receive a survey in the spring, or if you received one but didn’t complete it, please let us know what you think of the University of Denver Magazine.
Your feedback is important; we rely on it to shape every aspect of the magazine. Thank you in advance for sharing your views.
