Background
Marion Jenkins, PhD, is founder and CEO of QSE Technologies, which provides information technology design and consulting to healthcare-focused entities throughout the US. QSE’s track record includes over 100 current or completed healthcare IT projects in 27 states and territories. In addition, QSE has been engaged in projects relating to computer fraud, IT due diligence, expert witness engagements and computer forensics.
Prior to founding QSE, Dr. Jenkins had over two decades of executive management experience in a variety of high-growth technology and communications companies. He has served as a chief information officer, chief operating officer, vice president of sales and marketing, vice president of sales operations and chief technology officer. Within various executive management positions in the highly M&A-intensive telecommunications and high-tech industries, he was responsible for IT due diligence and post-acquisition technology integration of dozens of companies.
Dr. Jenkins is a nationally-recognized author and speaker, having authored over 30 presentations and publications on the role of technology in healthcare and business, and is a contributing author to the book, “Business Driven Information Technology,” published by Stanford University Press and used as an MBA textbook in business schools around the country.
Dr. Jenkins earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University, and Masters and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
