It was a fantastic day to be a Pioneer – from the great performance of the DU team to the pre-game activities at Mile High with thousands of Pioneers from all generations coming together to celebrate our school.

Some of the students have told me it was not only one of their best days at DU, but one of the best days of their lives. Big events like this have a huge power to celebrate our collective identity and to all us to share a common experience. Thanks to DU for stepping up and buying tickets for our students to be there, and for investing in school spirit. And thanks to over 10,000 DU fans for making it a very special day.
