DU skier Lindsey Cone was featured on the CBS Evening News’ August 31 broadcast.
Cone, a native of Killington, Vt., talked about her efforts to get back to DU in time for fall quarter in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.
Vermont has experienced significant flooding and damage resulting from the hurricane, which moved up the Eastern Seaboard this past weekend.
Cone made it back to Denver late Wednesday evening.
