One concert. Three virtuoso classical guitarists.
That’s the experience Lamont Society patrons will get when Los Tres Amigos take the Newman Center stage on Wednesday. The trio, which consists of DU guitar faculty artists Ricardo Iznaola, Masakazu Ito and Jonathan Leathwood, will offer a program of duos and trios by composers from Europe and Latin America.
The event will launch the 2011-12 Lamont Society concert series, which is reserved for members of the Lamont Society. The amigos take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Newman Center’s Hamilton Recital hall. A reception will follow in the Spencer Artist Reception Room. RSVPs are required.
