Background
Russo is a program manager for the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center, a program of the National Institute of Justice. He is responsible for keeping abreast of technology advances in probation and parole and helping agencies optimize the potential of these new tools. Russo’s previous experience includes work as a Management Analyst for the New York City Department of Probation; Assistant Director of Work Release for the New York City Department of Corrections and administrator of a number of community-based correctional facilities in Manhattan, NY. He has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Marist College (NY) and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (NY).
