The University of Denver will host an NCAA regional gymnastics meet on April 2 at Magness Arena.
The University also hosted NCAA regionals in 2002, 2004 and 2007. The DU gymnastics team advanced to the national championship meet after competing well at the 2007 regional hosted at the DU.
“It is certainly my expectation to be at our regional championship,” says Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart, head coach of the DU gymnastics team. “This is my 12th year at Denver and we haven’t missed a regional yet. It’s very exciting to compete in front of your home fans at an NCAA post-season event, more so when your team advances.”
Tickets for are now on sale through TicketMaster or the Ritchie Center Box Office. Reserved seating tickets are available for $15 in the lower level and $10 in the upper level. Children and senior tickets are also available for $8 in the upper level. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets by calling the DU season ticket holder hotline at 303-871-4625.
