The University of Denver men’s basketball program will host its annual end of the year banquet on Thursday, April 25, in the Gottesfeld Room on the fourth floor of the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness.
The dinner will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a program to celebrate the Pioneers’ 2012-13 season, including awards presentations.

The Pioneers finished the 2012-13 season 22-10 overall and captured a share of the Western Athletic Conference regular season championship with a 16-2 record. Denver earned a No. 3 seed in the National Invitation Tournament, winning the team’s first-ever NCAA Division I postseason victory in the first round against Ohio.
Junior Chris Udofia was voted All-WAC First Team, WAC All-Defensive Team and NABC All-District 6 First Team. Senior Chase Hallam joined Udofia on the WAC All-Defensive Team, while also claiming a spot on the All-WAC Second Team. Sophomores Brett Olson and Royce O’Neale both were selected to the All-WAC Third Team.
As a team, the Pioneers ended the year ranked 65th in the RPI, 44th in the Pomeroy Ranking, 55th on ESPN’s Basketball Power Index and 63rd in the Sagarin Rating. All were the best finish in Denver’s history.
Individual game tickets for the 2013-14 season will go on sale in October with prices starting at $9 for adults. DU students get into the game free with their Pioneer Card.
