Greg Glasgow is a Colorado native. He was born and raised in Boulder, where he worked at the Daily Camera newspaper for 10 years, first as a music critic and entertainment reporter and then as entertainment and features editor. He joined the University Communications department in May 2009. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the magazine, assigning and editing stories, working with freelancers, rounding up artwork, coming up with story ideas and more. He also contributes articles to DU Today.
Greg was lead singer for the local independent rock band fortywatt from 2000–06. His short story “Home at Last” was published in the anthology Virgin Fiction II (William Morrow, 1999), a collection of previously unpublished writers under the age of 35.
Greg earned a BA in journalism from Colorado State University and an MA in creative writing from the University of Colorado-Boulder. He enjoys music, reading, thrift-store shopping, yoga, New York Times crossword puzzles (he can do Sunday–Thursday) and video games.
