Forbes ranks DU among America’s best colleges

DU has moved up on a list of America’s best colleges.

In their second-annual ranking of America’s best colleges, Forbes and the Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP) rank DU at 187, up from 378 in 2008.

Six hundred undergraduate programs are included in the report. The rankings were determined based on student opinion. CCAP compiled the rankings after looking at the quality of education, experience and achievements of the school’s students.

The method for compiling the data included evaluations from RateMyProfessors.com, Payscale.com and Who’s Who in America. Other components were average student debt, graduation rates and the number of students or faculty who have won national awards.
