NOAA scientist to discuss climate change

Susan Solomon, a senior scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will present a special lecture about the challenges of the science of climate change and why international agreement on climate change policy has been difficult.

The lecture, called “A World of Change: Climate Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” will start at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Lindsay Auditorium in DU’s Sturm Hall.

The lecture is sponsored by the DU chapter of Sigma Xi, the Denver Area Ivy Group and the DU Department of Physics and Astronomy.
