A memorial service for Professor Emeritus James “JJ” Johnston will be held Sept. 6, 10–11:30 a.m., in Magness Arena. A reception will follow in the Ritchie Center Gottesfeld Room.
All members of the University community and general public are welcome to attend; guests are asked to wear DU’s colors — crimson and gold — in commemoration of Johnston’s enthusiasm and support for the University.
Johnston, a longtime Daniels College of Business professor who taught the popular business law class for 60 years, died Aug. 6 at a Denver hospice. He was 86.
