University of Denver faculty, staff, students and alumni now have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer at lectures, seminars and forums that are part of the Presidential Debate Event Series. DU will host the first of the three 2012 presidential debates on Oct. 3.
Times, dates and requirements for each of the volunteer opportunities are listed on the volunteer page of the DU debate website. Each event has a “sign up” link that opens the volunteer form. A Banner ID number is required to register.
There also are opportunities to volunteer with the Commission on Presidential Debates Sept. 28-Oct. 3.
Some volunteer opportunities — such as those with the Commission on Presidential Debates — require training and background checks.
Event organizers will review all volunteer applications and will contact applicants if they are selected.
New volunteer opportunities will be posted on the website as they become known.
