University Lofts contractors press on to complete building by fall

Contractors at the student-only rental complex on the northeast corner of University Boulevard and East Evans Avenue are pressing to complete the building by the announced move-in date of Sept. 1.

A furnished second-floor model opened in mid-June to let potential residents see how some of the 96 units will look.

The model is a four-bedroom, two-bath unit facing southwest that rents at $1,075 per bedroom per month, with one free month as a lease incentive. Studios and two-bedroom units are also available.

The model boasts 10-foot, exposed concrete ceilings, maple cabinets and Kenmore appliances. All utilities and cable TV are included; underground parking is extra. Pets are not allowed, and it is a secure, no-smoking building.

Commercial tenant Jamba Juice was to have begun work on its ground-floor space by the end of June, followed by TCF Bank and Jordan’s Bistro and Pub.

The project is not affiliated with the University of Denver.
