This cake topper is part of a collection of wedding and anniversary memorabilia housed in DU’s Beck Archives. The decoration was used in 1956 to celebrate
Max and Anna Schatz Rosenthal’s 50th anniversary. Housed at DU since 1976, the Ira M. Beck Memorial Archives formally became a part of the Penrose Library archives and special collections in 1992. The purpose of the Beck Archives is to preserve and publicize the vibrant Jewish history of the Rocky Mountain region through manuscripts, private papers, institutional records, oral histories, photographs, newspapers, memorabilia and microfilmed documents.
