Remembrance and Hope event for Holocaust Awareness Institute at last performance May 23
DENVER—Tony Award-winning actor Harvey Fierstein could have something to say to the audience after he finishes talking to the “Almighty” in his role as Tevye the Milkman in the musical production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” Fierstein might join fellow cast members for an onstage chat on Sunday, May 23, as part of a special Remembrance and Hope event sponsored by the Holocaust Awareness Institute (HAI) at the University of Denver.
In addition to seeing the final performance of ‘Fiddler’ and participation in the cast talkback, the afternoon event will include a dessert reception and silent auction. The multi-faceted event is the first of its kind in HAI’s 27-year history. The reception begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by the performance at 2 p.m. It will take place at the Seawell Ballroom and the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
