Mike David's photography captures his passion for the natural world.

Internationally known photographer Mike David brings his work to DU’s Newman Center for the Performing Arts Oct. 6–8 in the Spirit of Adventure exhibit and performances.

A large screen presentation of David’s photography will transport audiences though the remote villages of the Himalayas, the crystal blue water of the tropics, the splendor of Europe, the wilds of Africa, the color of South America and points in between, including Colorado, David’s home state.

Musicians will accompany the photography, performing original works and songs from the cultures depicted to create a multi-media experience.

David’s biography describes his award-winning work as “a celebration of nature’s diverse beauty.” His passion for nature, photography and adventure has taken him to more than 40 countries.

David’s work was recently honored by Pentax USA at the International Photo Marketing Convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
