Five University of Denver athletics teams ranked among the top 10 percent within their sports for multiyear Academic Progress Rates (APR), according to the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
The DU men’s basketball, men’s golf, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and women’s skiing programs received APR Public Recognition Awards after ranking among the top 10 percent in their respective sports. The Pioneers’ men’s golf program garnered its fifth consecutive Public Recognition Award; the women’s skiing program was honored for the fourth straight year; and men’s soccer won for the second consecutive season.
All 17 University of Denver varsity sports teams earned a multiyear 2011–12 APR of 956 or higher.
