Interest in DU Pioneers hockey is high as students began camping out for season tickets more than 24 hours in advance.
Tents and barbecues began dotting the area outside the Ritchie Center box office on Sept. 23. Season tickets for students went on sale the morning of Sept. 24.
The Pioneers have been ranked No. 6 in at least one preseason poll and return a host of starters from last year, a season in which the Pioneers qualified for the NCAA tournament.
