The University of Denver men’s basketball team returns to Magness Arena after a 2-0 start to the 2011–12 season.
The Pioneers will take on Southern Mississippi at 7 p.m. Nov. 17. Denver is 2-0 against the Golden Eagles, last beating them during the 2005–06 Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska.
DU is led by senior captain and reigning Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year Brian Stafford, who averaged 28.5 points in Denver’s wins over Portland State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, while shooting 60 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.
Men’s basketball individual game tickets range from $9–$15.
